Annual Fund Raiser Ceili
A Céilidh or Céilí (pronounced "kay-lee") is a social event or disco, typically with Celtic music and dancing. The word céilidh is Irish and Scottish Gaelic for 'visit', denoting the event's origin as an informal, home gathering. The music is cheerful and lively, and the basic steps can be learned easily; a short instructional session is often provided for new dancers before the start of the dance itself

Raffle Table
A major part of this event is our raffles. Along with various donations from local vendors, each class donates a themed basket for the raffle table. We will need a volunteer from each class to coordinate the basket for their class. Each class agrees on a theme and the coordinator collects a $5.00 item from each family or a $5.00 donation. The coordinator's contribution will be the basket and any packing materials needed to assemble the basket. Baskets should be completed and turned in to me a week prior to the ceili.
There will be sign up sheets for the class coordinators and their class themes (so we don't have duplicates). The theme can be anything your class agrees on from Irish or Italian to Gardening or Board Games. We'll also have sign up sheets out at class for volunteers who can work the raffle table during the ceili.
Recital DVD's
The recital will be recorded and VHS tapes or DVD's can be purchased
for $25.00 each.
Orders are placed at the show, on a table at the end of the hall.
payment by check or cashis due with the order.
Bill Magro of "I do"
wedding videos has been a great supporter of our ceili,
providing great footage for reasonably priced custom DVD's. He has also
generously donated a DVD/VCR player to our raffle for the past three
years. Your patronage is appreciated.
